• I’ve never ordered catering before, what are the steps?

    Browse the different menus and catering styles and select those that best fit your event. Reach out to the catering office via email (preferred) or phone with your event details to receive a quote. Please provide as many details as possible for an accurate quote. Please keep in mind that prices are subject to increase unless a deposit and contract are signed.

  • How far in advance should I book my event?

    As soon as possible is recommended. We can accommodate pickup/delivery orders with 1-2 days’ notice (excluding orders placed outside of office hours). Full set up catering is recommended to be booked 7 days in advance to ensure proper details and coordination have been established.

  • How do I choose a menu?

    We offer a variety of signature menus to choose from, or you can create your own menu by selecting options a la carte. All signature menus can be adjusted to your preference and items can be substituted, if needed. If you are having a cocktail/social hour prior to your event, Kanak Attack offers a wide assortment of appetizers as well.

  • What types of cuisines do you offer?

    Kanak attack is known for our delicious Hawaiian Cuisine. We do offer a variety of different menus including Italian, BBQ, and more. Our talented chefs can create all types of custom menus and dishes upon request (subject to pricing and product availability).

  • Can you provide items for guests that are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or have other dietary restrictions?

    Yes, Kanak Attack offers both a Gluten Free and a Vegan signature menu. We can also put together specific menus for any dietary restriction.

  • Do you offer beverages?

    Kanak Attack offers a handful of non-alcoholic beverages including Tropical Fruit Punch, Pina Colada Lemonade, and more. Check out our menu for more details.

  • Do you travel outside of Boise for events?

    Yes, we love destination weddings and events! Each event is case by case to make sure we could commit to the needs of the client. There would also be added fees depending on location and lodging. If this is something you are interested in having us cater, reach out to us and we’d be happy to discuss all the details with you.

  • Do you offer tastings?

    Yes, we offer complimentary tastings, by appointment only, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Call or email our office for more details and to book your tasting with us.

  • What is the average cost of a buffet-style catering?

    While every catering varies by headcount and items chosen from our menu, here is a reference guide to help you get an idea of what your event might cost. Prices are based on the average $20 price of our Signature Packages. Sales tax is applied to the final total (not listed in examples).

    50 Guests x $20 Package = $1000 x 20% Operations Charge = $1200
    75 Guests x $20 Package = $1500 x 20% Operations Charge = $1800
