Katering FAQs

  • 1. I've never ordered catering before, what are the steps?

Go online, look over the catering menu possibilities and choose one that works best for you. Email or call our catering office to get a quote. We’ll need to know the date of the event, what the event is for (ie- wedding, birthday, anniversary, business meeting, etc), if it’s a wedding, the wedding couple’s names, if it’s a business function the company name, how many guests are invited, the time you’d like serving to begin (if you have a time set), your phone number, the menu you chose and your email.

  • 2. How far in advance should I book my event?

As soon as possible is best. We are capable of catering multiple events in a day. If it’s last minute, don’t stress, we can accommodate most orders with as little as a day or two notice.

  • 3. How do I choose a menu?

Look over all our catering menu choices, and don’t forget the a la carte options. All pre-planned menus do allow for some adjustment to be made to better fit your event. If you’re looking to make changes to a menu it may be best to call the office. The catering manager will assist you in making choices with flavor profiles that are cohesive and food items that are in season to create a menu that best fits your and your guests’ needs.

  • 4. What types of cuisines do you offer?

Kanak Attack is known for our delicious Hawaiian cuisine, but we have menus with Asian, Latin, traditional American and BBQ flavors. With almost 20 years of experience, there isn’t much we haven’t done!

  • 5. Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free items?

Yes, Kanak offers all of these options and we are happy to put together a menu that fits your dietary needs or restrictions.

  • 6. Do you offer beverages?
